The Pennington School, Old Main/Meckler Library/Stainton Hall

This project was a multi-phase renovation that included work in the school’s oldest, most historic building that dates back to the 1800s – the Old Main Building. The level of careful coordination and attention to detail was fitting for the Adams-Bickel team who executed according to plan and with high quality workmanship. The buildings and spaces were meticulously renovated with high-end, carefully curated finishes.

Ultimately, the work successfully yielded a more functional and modern environment while still preserving the historic character and “feel” of the buildings.

Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, The Riley Center for STEM Education

The building incorporates eight science laboratories, three lab prep rooms, eight mathematic classrooms, a Design, Thinking, Entrepreneurship classroom, and several specialty labs dedicated to design and innovation, robotics, and coding. The project also included an extensive renovation and restoration of the school’s coveted Rose Garden, and significant landscaping of the surrounding areas.

The project was successfully completed on-time, despite an aggressive schedule and tight campus. LEED Certification is pending.

The Haverford School – New Middle School

The project began with the demolition of the former Middle School. This was executed while simultaneously maintaining the existing and attached cafeteria, which had to function for the school year and summer camp sessions.

Additionally, extensive enabling and site work was necessary prior to the construction of the new building. The new building is centrally located on campus within a tight, confined area that allowed for little to no laydown space.

Cabrini University – Iadarola Hall Renovations

This renovation project created two “Simulation Labs” and a flexible “Skills Lab/Instruction Area” for the new Department of Nursing at Cabrini University. The labs include bed locators and headwalls with services that the nursing students will encounter in hospital settings.

Data and AV infrastructure were included to be able to monitor, record, and review the lab activities with the students.

The Skills Lab/Instruction Area is now separated from the Main Entrance of the building.
